I was kinda serious about the broadsword.Oh well....perhaps a machete is most practical.It is agricultural after all.

Mack,if you have to rely upon something sharp for self preservation,you will be better served by a short spear.

Always wanted a genuine Assegai just for the heck of it. It isn't much of a slasher or brush clearer though.
Will change my name to Shaka Zulu after I get it.
Anything that maintains some distance from the opponent whilst not being too long for indoor use should do.

I don't know if that is Vikram in that photo but the guy in the kilt beside him looks decidedly nervous.

You may also like to practice this warrior chant,for I heard the assegai is ineffective without a proper rendition before putting up a charge.

Seriously, a short spear in a confined spaces is not a bad idea at all. I have seen on the Greatest Warrior show how effective and versatile this weapon is.

But again,potent as it is, it has little chance against the Highland Claymore.What, you don't trust me? Watch this.

That was I in that pic.Took at a shop that specialises in these stuff, right in front of the Edinburgh castle.That is supposedly similar to William Wallace's Claymore. And the bloke next to me had a strong reason to be nervous. LOL.

The price of allowing me to pose with that monster was a little contribution to the solders' welfare fund!
