There are few around but its very rare that one comes up for sale.
The last one I saw was 2 years ago it was Suhl made clamshell design pretty little thing.

Have seen combinations arround, but have yet to see an double in 22lr. some time back i had seen a .22 high power double box lock by Gustav Genshaw which was in excelent condition, i really wish i coudl have bought it. Double rifles have a charm of their own and really appeal to me.......i really like them. hope you find one in .22lr, though it might not have much use...but again it depends on choice and purpose or as an collectable.

i have seen an article about it ,if possible i wanted one ,my serious shooting days are over., but least i can do is own one as a collectible.
