Precision shooting means Standing Position & Duelling means Sitting. Please refrain from posting incorrect information. mod.

Hello Chitapure, forgive my ignorance. I was thinking that duelling is two shooters shooting at each other in the olden days to settle disputes. This duelling/sitting shooting, could you please elaborate? I am not very familiar with Olympic /ISSF stuff. I don't know the history of duelling, also not expert with ISSF terms,
but for G4G competition, they explain duelling as Setting position.

I will be coming on 14th or 15th Sept.
I have query, I have never done shooting nor i have done basic course of shooting... so am I eligible for this competition? Before the event will they provide training of how to handle the weapon?
Please share with me ur experience and tips of 12th sept.
Once again.. Best of Luck if qualified then we will meet on 18th Sept. 2012

A - In standard Pistol event (.22 LR), among 60 total record series, u have
1) 20 shot Precision(5 shot per mag, total 4 series), Total time - 150 sec per series
2) 20 shot - Total time - 20 sec per series, &
3) 20 shot - Total Time - 10 sec per series.
in this perticular event, in all series target remain precision. In this target.
B - In Center Fire Pistol event (.32 Bore), among 60 total record series, u have
1) 30 shots precision (5 shot per mag, total 6 series), Total time - 5 minutes per series.
2) 30 shots Dewelling (5 shot per mag, total 6 series), total time - 3 sec for fire, & 7 sec 45 degrees rest, this is per shot. we continue this series till 5 shots
here 30 shots for precision target & 30 shots for dewelling target (dewelling target is more of black from center)

Thanks for the detail explanation , but as I mentioned in my previous post I am new to shooting and have not completed basic course for shooting, so was not able to understand the term "mag". Can u please explain the same..?

It was great experience to attain the opening ceremony.
It is fan shooting championship.
ya they will give you required training.
These are Air Rifle Standing & bench Resting Matches.
You can pay at the event only. Rs500/- each type.
Enjoy it.
You may get chance to meet Gagan Narang & many more Top Shooters as I got.
