Dear brahmastra,
No need to invoke your almighty power of wrath and destruction - after all, the
brahmastra is meant to be launched as a last resort with full control on mind.
Read what brihji and I have written and see "what" of it makes sense. BTW, the annecdote is *not* fictitious. Had you kept your mind open to possibilities you would have seen the light. So what is the logical
possibility assuming that we are talking of the same product that .338lapua (who has seen the piece himself) "let out" and even essdee1972 managed to see and handle ? (SD - why the confusion ?)
Why could it not be:
That the products are indeed
Made in India but Gamo has shown interest in "acquisition" of the same due to superior quality. You asked me in a rather impudent fashion to check with Joy Biswas - I did not take to the bait - because for me there was no need.
I am sure Mr. Joy Biswas has his facts quite correct as:
1. He is a reputed name in our circle and fraternity and is known to dispense candidly with the truth.
2. He knows the designer-manufacturer personally and professionally.
3. He has seen and handled the product(s) - otherwise he would not have written the short but sweet testimonial.
So is it possible that there was a communication gap between him and you simply because your
Joy on hearing the news was so great that you put
Biswas on what you heard rather than what was being said ?
(JB - Hope you don't mind this particular play on words
)
Should you read the thread in entirety you shall see that Brihji has been privileged to take frequent peeks and also handle the components and the prototypes at different stages of design and manufacture. So to cut the long story short -
brihacharan knows what he talks about. Nowhere does it appear that he's insulted you or JB; so your retort to a member like him who is senior in age, experience and contribution to the forum, was totally unjustified.
Hope this clears the air and you allow the dust to settle down ? Now let us all await
patiently the positive step(s) India takes forth in AR manufacturing. Countdown's begun.
