Herman Goering's Walther PPK Expected to Go for £30,000!

Post by Vikram » Fri Aug 24, 2012 12:16 am

The golden gun ceremoniously handed over by high-ranking Nazi Hermann Goering when he surrendered to a soldier at the end of the Second World War has been revealed in public for the first time.
The famous gun has come to light 67 years after the SS officer gave it to Lieutenant Jerome Shapiro in a symbolic gesture as he fled from Germany in the final days of the Third Reich.

This is Goering's and pretty rare kind.

The way things are moving here very soon simple PPK's would be going for that price in India pretty soon. They are fetching £15,000 these days!

Sweet gun with a lot of history behind it.

But I am intrigued by the magazine and also the slightly loose/poorly fitting grip. Possibly replacement parts?
