My new EDC Flashlight - Ultrafire C3 Q5

Post by Skyman » Thu Aug 16, 2012 7:07 pm

Hey Guys,

Got a flashlight as well with the knife. It is an Ultrafire C3 with a Q5 driver. It has 5 modes- Low,Medium,High,Strobe and SOS.

It has a specialty- An extension tube.It normally holds one AA or 14500 battery. With the extension tune screwed on, it can hold two AA batteries for extended runtime. It is tested at 190-200 lumens. It has o-rings at all threads and is therefore waterproof. The threads were greased when i got it.Nice.Has a single LED emitter and aluminium reflector.Strong metal construction, no loose parts.

Rated 1.2-4.2 Volts.Has a clicky switch and came with a wrist strap. It is very compact and very bright. Will post night time pics soon.

Only con- Sometimes it changes modes on it's own accord. No biggie but might be a problem in emergency situations.

Price for this falshlight ranges from i think 10-15$.

Here are some pics.
