Shotgun license rejected

Hi,

I am a new joiner I applied for PAG 12 bore licence from Siwan Bihar.
The application was rejected as we can,t provide fr self defence until some thing wrong happens with me. how foolish. :( Please help me and suggest me what to do now?

Have they given refusal in writing? If not ask them to issue license or give you the refusal in writing as per Section 14(3) of Arms Act 1959. Once you get the refusal in writing, appeal to the appellate authority. If still refused approach High Court.
