Thanks Tranter, I regularly visit the forum and have a collection of books on military knives and swords. It seems the Indian ones you have were made for the Indian army for presentation. I saw one of these at a retired officers house.

I bought one by Wilkinson Sword during a trip years ago... May I ask where did you source the Indian ones from ? The army used to make them years ago for presentation during decorations. I am not sure whether these were battle worthy. Are these the Army ones ?

I had no idea someone in India was crazier than me about Sykes

There's one available at OlivePlanet, Bruno was kind enough to check it out in person and was not too impressed with the quality...

Yes I heard about this one at Oliveplanet. Its probably a well made replica.

Moin, I will post pics. I promise. Right now I am really getting torn between office and home renovation. Need some time. But serious knife lovers like you will be disappointed. I have seen a few places but my shopping list always had more to do with gifts for friends and family. I often regret when I see your collections...

Here are some pictures of my Indian made FS knives, they have been purchased from various collectors fairs, these were not made as presentation pieces, these ones have been used , as can be seen by the extensive sharpening and retipping !
