Just a rough rider fixed blade and my beloved tenacious, I hope I don't end up ruining either of them. Have done some stupid things before

Some cosmetic surgery on my loyal EDC sine the last two years
grooves on the Victorinox Bundeshwehr (more grippppyyy
) OD sclaes and since the blade was heavily scratched after having being used and abused, gave the blade a bead blasted type of finish.... Sharpening on the Lansky's pending.
The scallopped serrations were taken out long time back and the chisel grind replaced with cantled.

Don't have a sandblasting machine. Wanted to give a sand blasted type of finish as the blade was getting scratched with use, so used a conical shaped stone bit in the rotary tool, moving it along the length of the blade to get this type of finish. Wanted to darken it as well by dipping in ferric chloridie to get that matt sand blasted look, but I liked this finish better..
Finished by sharpening it razor sharp on the Lansky. An yes the OD scales were rubbed with 150 grit emery paper for better traction
This puppy has served me well, deserved a bit of facelift
