airgun_novice wrote:Anyway to answer your Qn in short - this AR will be somewhat lighter than N35 simply because the wooden stock is replaced by a synthetic one; even if everything of metal is molded/ die-cast rather than welded, glued or drilled like the IHP N25/35.
Thanks bro.. I do understand the technical ( as you mentioned balance/velocity/weight interconnections ) but in my views synthetic stock will reduce the weight but for a powerful AR average weight should be maintained..!! That question comes out from this silly curiosity...!!
Hearing from someone used the AR will be great..thats why...! Not intended to question the master brain/team behind this dream project..!!!

Waiting for the product to be released..!!

Dear Shooter@Ktm, No curiosity is silly ! :-) I have a Daisy 856 - that is smaller and has more plastic than any toy around. ;-) It might still be in Japaloupies pix. It was fairly accurate for one that didn't have windage adjustment or a good elevation function. Of course it's a multi-pump. Recently, it cracked at a few important places and lost its accuracy and consistency therefore. So "retired" (but still retain) it. Since it still shoots OK, one of the IFGians has asked for it but am ashamed to give it "as-is" for his son. :-(

Hey buddy,
> Set your mind a rest :D
> Synthetic stock doesn't mean 'Light Weight' plastic...
> It's Fibre Glass filled high grade nylon from Dupont (material imported) that's tougher than wood. It does not warp, chip or crack like wood. Many international high powered Air Rifles come with synthetic stocks.
> As far as the overall weight of the AR is concerned - it falls well within the accepted norms of minimum weight required for an Air Rifle which combines power with accuracy.
> No more silly curiosities please

i have seen the said airrifle , it will take the market by storm, personally i believe this airrifle is better than imported airrifle. It has an awesome trigger mechanism, very light weight and great finish. I am waiting for the pics once i get them i will display it on my site aimco.co.in for customer response and feedback.
