They get reseller commission. Who would do it for free?

Re: imported airguns for sale in india finally
So the procedure remains the same. On goods arrival one has to provide scanned copies of rifle club membeship and other undertakings. What is missing is since the documents are to be provided in soft to the clearing agent as is the case now, whats are the safeguards that the documents provided will not be misused? Also status of relish in the whole deal meaning whether relish going to be agent of companies or agent of buyer? Or its going to be principal to principal dealing?tiwariarrun wrote:I just spoke to the guy. His name is Mohammad. Nice fella. So it works like this.
Commercial import is banned. All these guys would do is get you the stuff directly from the manufacturer, and deliver the guns at your door step in 15 days. As far as my experience is concerned, it does take 12-15 days for the gun to reach you once you place an order with Pyramyd Air.
The only advantage is, Relish Sports has got 30 days return policy. Even Pyramyd does but you have to bear 100 USD shipping. Relish providing 1 yr warranty on guns.
They would help you import provided your documents are clear. The procedure remains the same. You have to be a club member and blah blah.
They would take a couple weeks for the launch because as I said payment gateway integration is kind of a hassle in India.
Mohammad bhai (owner) is an old member of IFG- pretty inactive though. He said he would login and answer your questions.

RelishSports.com
Hello to All
So, where to begin. ?
A lot of questions and confusion about our endeavour relishsports.com
First let me introduce myself (once again) Name : Mohd. Zafar, Resident of Ballarpur (Ballarshah they are the same), Maharashtra.
Years ago i been (might still be; have not logged) a member here. The members from that time i remember were Mack The Knife, Abhijeet (of course) , Hamilclar, GG (was very intrigued by their name which gave birth to a very interesting thread) , Shamsher, Vikram and some others whose name are faint in my memory.
I have followed IFG from its Yahoo days intermittently, i was a student and could not give much time nor money to this hobby . I tried my hands on some Indian guns but could not satisfy myself, though had a Diana from my cousin brother. I was very desperate to get a good quality gun but all went in vain. I was prepared to go to Dubai just to buy an airgun because people were asking exorbitant price for airguns.
A post by a very respected member who has become inactive then, caught my attention.
His post contained some talk about a European manufacturer who was ready to set up a manufacturing unit here and also a entrepreneur who was ready to invest . That would have made many dreams come true. But he has put this 'project' behind. I thought , this should be done, so tried to contact him but could not do so. Mack The Knife helped me here and gave his contact info. But he downed the idea saying, its not doable in Indian system of things. He was and is right to this day.
But I had put it in my mind that I will do something in this matter, we Indians should have easy access and choice to buy these very interesting piece of mechanical art called airguns.
Thus was born Relish Sports.
Whoosh ! but what a roller coaster ride it is. The moment you open your mouth and say airgun, there are raised eyebrows every where. From registering your business, to asking for finance, import formalities; The name seem to drop a bomb.
Can you believe it even Google didn't allowed us to use 'airgun' in our ads as keyword, had to be satisfied with air rifle
What I done so far is making some application, filling out forms , singing agreements and following up with distributors, bankwallas, hosting provider, courier. Its a lot of work to start a genuine business even on the internet.
As regard to the website, we have registered it way back on 14 Feb 2012, could only get our business license on 18th April 2012 though have applied for it two months back. We have planned it to launch much earlier but not everything was in place. Its nearing completion now. But a very important aspect of online payment is still there to be activated. It is taking too much time and every address, id, income, legal proofs you can give is demanded
As for the trust factor; is it a scam? will be the customer duped? Are they original items ?
Just give us time and words of encouragement, we could be making lives of gun enthusiasts more interesting. We have some nice plans for future (future does not mean 2/20 days) . Depends upon response to this endeavour.
I never disclose my plans and dreams, so you must know i have told a lot when i say we have some nice ones coming. Even i didnt thought to be disclosing about this website without everything in place, even though i have registered this member id two months back when i thought we are near it.
Anyway thanks to all for the response so far. Don't hurry to order, it will take some more time; we just pray we live up to the expectations. Do note that we will not be able to answer your queries here nor reply to your post regularly on IFG.
I have given my personal no. on the website, you can call during 10 am -6 pm. if i cant receive your call , i may be driving or filling out some forms
Off to some more form filling

Re: RelishSports.com
Dear IFG'ians,
I saw this website in the morning and was extremely happy to see the inventory.
I knew that given what hell people have gone through importing air rifles I knew some would doubt about this site being legit,I too was among them.
So in the evening I called up Zafar and had a great talk with him.
The site will be operational within 2-3 weeks and currently only rifle club members will be sold air rifles. Those who are not members can buy BB guns(I will be doing so for sure).Zafar is also trying in the next few months to sell air rifles to non-club member also given that he will be a local dealer within the country.I commend him for that.
If the feedback is good then he will add airsoft products to that list.
So I am extremely happy with this initiative.Zafar will be updating the status of the store on the FB page of RelishSports.
Lets pass on the word to all shooters planning to import, once the site is operational and deliveries are made its good for all of us.
Boris.

How this all is different? You have to registered club member to import .177 .. which is already there..... You donnt require a middle man... Commercial imports are banned.... Wats special..?
