need information from the basics

HI
i have been shooting since the age of 17 :D and am a pro in it :) only thing is i use a different equipment to shoot.... CAMERA. :D
and my childhood passion is shooting the target :) i have been using air rifle in the beaches of chennai since the age of 10 to shoot the baloons :lol: now am planning to start as a sport. So kind hearted people please give me information's about which gun i should buy (am interested in rifle). where to get??? how much its gonna cost ???? about competitions ??? clubs , registrations (guess we need that to import rifles if am getting good at it i will get that someday soon) Rules and regulations etc.. and am from chennai. so need information abt competitions and clubs and guns dealers in chennai..

Welcome to IFG bro...Here the answers to your questions (of course my personal opinion). You can buy IHP National 35 (.177 Caliber) from Aimco.in which will cost u around 6500 (including shipping). Start applying in Chennai Rifle Club if you are (seriously) interested to pursue in competition.
