You have read the suggestions. It will be good for you to wait a bit, save and get a better one than buy a cheap one that is not worth it.Most of us had to and still skimp and save to get the toys we want and there is nothing to be ashamed of. JMHO.

Hi, I don't mean to be nitpicking or anything, but can someone move this post the to the Air Guns section?
I mean a lot of Air Gunners might not see this post simply because it's in the wrong section, thus depriving our eager friend of valuable advice. Just saying.
Btw, the crawford market area has a few gunshops you may wish to visit. Notably Hassanand & Hemandas Co.

You can find local made airpistol in 1k from local airgun shop or toyshop.

In our locality there is a airgun factory . I order there to make a good & high range .22 cal airpistol for mine. It cost IR 800 only..

Hi kaustubh,
I had ordered One BB gun from ioffer. It probably reach me by 14th Aug, fingers crossed, I hope it reaches me without problem. I will keep posted once it reaches me.

Also Got one air pistol .22 cal from crowferd market AR rehman street. did not remember shop name but the price was Rs.1500, some are available as low as Rs.600. these are so so type(as per price). works well with particular type of pallets only (MARVELLOUS long range cal 5.5(.22) locally available) others pallets just pop out of gun or stucks inside. these pistols triggers are very hard accuracy is not good(may be because of hard trigger) with some practice I could able to shoot 2 inch target from 6 M distance with it now. It serves me ok for plinking at home or terrace. I not expert here but sharing my experience , hope this helps.

from whom u ordered on ioffer...
i talked with a guy his account name is coolstuff...i dont remember exactly...???
he told me that he ship every week to india as an gift and there are no problems

This problem is not for trigger .
The accuracy is low due to low quality of springer & piston..
Which is push the air in a small hole..

It is good to being a hard trigger.
