I wonder if people like amazon and ebay offer worldwide free shipping? They have some knives in their inventory.

Amazon does not offer worldwide free shipping. Amazon US may offer free shipping inside us for orders above certain amount. Sometimes, they restrict free shipping to mean "ground" shipping only.

Amazon will not ship knives to India.

You reliable options are (that I know of):
* KnifeCenter FedEx for ~$30.
* Howe's Knife Shop, discuss USPS costs, but should be again around $30 (USPS Priority Mail International $16.95 + Registered $12). Do NOT miss the Registered part.

Howe's is presently having a Spyderco close-out sale, and his prices are generally lower than KC.

One word: volume. Howe's is a family owned and operated shop, while KC is a huge business.

?!? FedEx individual international is about $100 for knives while kc has it for $30. This is a 7-10 day guaranteed delivery with full end to end tracking.

Howes has USPS at cost, which comes around again $30 for priority and registered.

Nobody is losing money.
