Where can I find a list of colleges having NCC?

You can contact with local NCC office. .
Only They can help you. .



If your college having no NCC , you can join directly ..

Contact with the incharge of the battleion of your neighbourhood..

I have another question. I did my JD, but dont have a certificate, our whole batch dint get .. But I have ATC certificate. Can I join SD?
So many times, it happens too fast

Because i got my certificate in one month..

I will second ramtiger in saying that..... while at NCC try to opt for better camps/training's than doing the usual annual camp and Small time parades.... e.g. - Army attachment, mountain climbing, shooting etc...(if you are able to impress the officer with your behavior/work than more rounds, anyways cadets back out of .303 rifle shooting and you can fill in but take precautions and be careful with your shoulder)

actually its 7.62 not 303..........i too had fired lots of it during my NCC days

Thanks guys for the thorough info.
@gopal, i know mate.. I fired the enfield rifle, 5 rounds.. First shot almost made me deaf. But then, its all paradise. And thanks for the tips! :)

My first firing is from Lee Enfeild ,at Diamond harbour navy camp (it is used for NCC camping ) when i was in 9th class...

i must have fired many(more then 500) round of 12 bore is skeet shooting during NCC ...... that was fun doing ....

Hi i was in ncc long back 4 years back in collage and i have completed b certificate. My college is the best for in ncc in karnataka we are wining the BIR for many years continuously our company is 2a/5 coy. I have shot Ishapore 2A/2A1 .22 converted, .22 deluxe and insas 5.56mm. Many camps and many more camps in my scouting days in school more than 10 scout camps and a few camps in ncc like CATC, many social service camps and one para camp... Did not go for TSC or RDC because had no time for that...
