I am not even a novice with these things, but the first thing I would be doing would be to contact the customer service/seller.

Dont worry your daystate will be fixed.

I will try my best to help you out.

To start of as Vikram rightly said speak to the dealer.

Andy which part of the country are you ?

It will take time but can surely be sorted.

If you have not tampered with the internals, we are talking about one of the o-rings blown out.

Start with the dealer and if you have no help from the dealer, we can collectively take it with the company.

They will walk with you to find the leak and sort it out.

You can PM me and I can share my number to discuss a plan of action.

Be rest assured we will sort this.

Hope the gun didn't fall and break any internals.
Whatever be the cause, discuss at length.

Easier to derive at the root cause by knowing how the incident occurred.

Pramod P

I am not aware of the logistics if you could send it to them and then have it shipped back.
It would cost you some mighty money due to the volumetric weight.
Okay first have a word with AOA.
They are slow in responding to e-mails so just call them.
Use skype or some other cheaper means as their wait time may be haunting as well.
Explain the issue and how the leak was caused.
See what they have to say and based on a few tests they could get to the root cause.

I thing that struck me which could have caused the leak would be blank firing the pcp at very low pressure in the tank.
PCP's like to have air in the Tanks and I always maintain 100 BAR as the low pressure in the PCP's I own.

The title of the thread shocked me... Daystate being the pioneer in PCP..
As I read on the essence of IFG became more meaningful..
Keep it up guys.

andy,
Most of new guns leak in 2 ways , one is through barrel due to partial opening of valve and oring damage in pressure guage . If you hear leaking noise through barrel then it is due to struck valve if not the culprit is oring on the pressure guage other than that the possibilities are very low .inspect the fill port also If the leak is valve fill the gun to full pressure and dry fire as many time u can so the struck valve closes fully . Pcp is simple air valve tools ....

If the pcp requires a certain amount of pressure to overcome the hammer spring tension then you would be
back in action if you cock the bolt and try to charge the gun.
You can release the bolt after about 1500 psi or when fully charged.
Wish you were someplace nearby.

Roland.
