NRAI constitution and membership card

Post by varunik » Fri Jun 08, 2012 1:21 pm

Anybody having a soft copy of NRAI's constitution?

Or can a the hard copy be obtained from their office?
tried mailing NRAI, no response

Also, we need help in bringing up our constitution ( Thanks indiaone for reminding me that!)
And can a member of NRAI please show me how a NRAi membership card looks like? is it a hard plastic (PVC) card or a booklet.
You can blur your name and ID, etc and PM me the scanned image of card to prevent any misuse.

Thanks

Don't lose your grip on the dreams of the past
You must fight just to keep them alive

They don't usually publicise their constitution. You can file an RTI with the registrar of societies, Delhi and obtain copies of the constitution. I believe NRAI itself is not a registered society (I could be wrong though), in stead they have TWO separate societies registered - The names to the best of my knowledge are - Wildlife Association of India (which is used to accommodate individual members) and The Shooters Association of India (used for institutional members like state rifle associations/ shooting clubs). The system of electing officials is somewhat opaque.

Cheers!
