No problem agn bhaisaheb , will fix for tomorrow.
In the meantime, do not get bogged down. You have committed an error which you will never repeat. End of the story.

Re: Tips on Pistol Shooting
Couldn't find anything on the net but the shoot well. They feel nice and shiny and load smoothly unlike the p 10's etc which need a slight shove with the thumb. I haven't had a chance to do more than 40 shots live. Got a few 7's which I can't blame on them . But to know they are good one needs to shoot at least a hundred or so. There is no information about this brand on the net. My second lot of one pellet tin was sent foc by them, it also had a slight dent.
I have suggested that they wrap everything in bubble wrap in the future. Hopefully this will work.
Regards,
Dev

Good work jitu!!! You shot only 5 eights and moreover you do not know what was your score. You care a damn about your score. Only good work is your prime concern..i did another elimination of 8s yesterday. 5 eights. no sevens. improving for sure. will draw the sight picture and sent it to u today

I repeat... Be intolerant with the 8's. If you shoot one 8, STOP immediately and analyze WHY you shot it, rectify the error and carry on.
Remember that you will have to do 100% in SA drill also. You did 100% in 20 holds. Do 20 holds with the confidence that you did it so you will do it again. Achieve it, rest for 5 minutes and then go for another 20 holds with the same mental preparation. This should be mentally easier to divide the drill in sets of 20 holds.
I will call you today evening after having a look at your SA drawing.
best regards

Dear All, dhanyawad. Definitely a tonic from y'all.
Dear tirpassion, can we have that talk tomorrow instead ? Tonight will be a bit late returning. Being "Bharat bandh" et al, visiting a friend tonight instead of in the afternoon.
Dear Airgun Novice,
> I've been following your moments of Agony & Ecstacy, endured & enjoyed by you at the competitions
> Just remember a Samurai Sword that can slice a strand of human hair can also slice a bamboo stalk of 4" dia in ONE stroke, undergoes 96 steps of heating, forging & annealing
> The analogy I draw here is You're the piece of steel that has to undergo the process of H / F / A before you start scoring 399/400
> Assuming that your AP is accurate & the pellets are of match quality - It's you who has to undergo sharp edge conditioning both in body & mind.
> As you know I am basically a sports shooter who even today can score 1/2" groups consistently at 30ft, also I am a qualified physical trainer & have been a mentor to my students at a business school where I taught a few years ago.
> Do call & drop in anytime & I'll initiate you into performing some exercises for your shoulder / forearm / elbow / upper & lower back + breath control. It could help you get better scores.
> After this you may have to change your Nom de Plume from AG Novice to AG Pro
Cheers
Briha

you are lucky man!!! Take refuge at Brihaji's place and get yourself physically tuned. You need it very seriously. So do not miss this golden opportunity.

Re: Tips on Pistol Shooting
Back from Capt EZ => TERRIBLE ! Pressure did me in! For the FIRST time experienced tremendous pressure. Hands trembled. Bloody MQS ! Surely BELOW 330. Tomorrow will do a detailed analysis. Almost thought of quitting the sport as buckling under pressure had never happened before. Right now emotions are on the borderline of whether I should sit in a corner and sob or catch hold of some unfortunate soul and beat the beep out of him ! Think I should hit the sack early today.

Edited on June 8, 2012 Capt EZ score 329/400
Edited on June 12, 2012 Capt EZ score breakup: 77, 83, 86, 83

Thank you for the words of comfort. After giving the 'phenomenon' some more thought (since calming down) and discussing the same with FF2003 and later at night with Brihji, in greater details, another condition seems plausible - Hypoglycemia. Plan to meet with Brihji to get the physical training regimen sorted out.Last 2-3 days I was exhibiting its aggravated symptoms but didn't put my finger on it. The thing must have been building up over past month, along with substantial loss in salt through profuse sweating due to frequent travel & exposure to the Mumbai's humidity and heat.
Even then, I believe that I am a laggard in mental training. Though exposed to the Fight v/s Flight Syndrome through your book and started reading that thread, I did not do adequate research nor follow-through. Consequently, I paid for it. "It" had to come, eventually; one more lesson learnt the hard way.
Dear tirpassion, FF informed me that there might still be another chance to make it to GVM. I am not quitting nor should you ... on me. Quite obviously, my training in all its aspects was found wanting. I should not blame the debacle on any other reason, but SELF. In short, I have kicked myself out of the "Devdas mode" and going into regimen. Shall update you by this Sunday about all the pointers and related "ATR" - Action Taken Report.
Thank y'all for sticking with me. Now I shall really hit the sack - again.
