Yes it is legal to import air pellets.
I imported them from pyramid air two weeks back

You need to be a registered shooter with a district / state / national level rifle association.

I've imported several .22 pellets including Bisley hollowpoints & H&N Coppa Points from Ebay without hassles.

aa far aa I understand, .177 guns and pellets import is duty free , so did you have to pay import duty on the imported .22 pellets?
