Hunting in Africa
Recently had our first clients from India. Great great people.
I own and run a hunting outfit in South Africa on my own concession.
My question is this... are there more people in India looking for a place to legally hunt??
Great forum!!!

Welcome to IFG.
You will probably get some interest from India.
Could you post some information about yourself, your website, location, etc.
A short introduction would help too.

Yes you will find that there are many poeple who would like to hunt legally. One of the issue we would have is that we cant bring our own rifles and would need those to be arranged for us.
I would also suggest you have local presence in India and help get legals aspects of importing trophies handeled for poeple.
If these issues are resolved then more people can be your clients.

umlilosafaris,
Thank you for posting the link to your website.
I think you will definitely find some interest here. You've come to the right place anyway.
Once again, a big welcome to IFG.

Re: Hunting in Africa
Went through the album and saw a gentleman called Saud Naqshbandi (from India) with some nice trophy animals.
Googled the name and what do I see.....
" Saud S Naqshbandi Dental Clinic".
A pleasant surprise.Wonder if he is the same person.

Re: Hunting in Africa
Using our rifles is no proble and normal practise. We have a range of rifles from .270 all the way through to .458.
We have sorted out the import of trophies to India. Very soon we will ship the first 20 shoulder mount out.
Thanks to everyone for there feed back, it really is great.
I am coming over to India at the end of August to visit and try and do some marketing. My idea is to pre-arrange 1 or 2 evenings where I will do a short presentation and hand out free DVD's and brochures about Umlilo Safaris.
Where and how I am still trying to figure out!!!

Re: Hunting in Africa
How have you managed to do that? Recently a member here, who went for a hunt to Africa, had lots of problems importing trophies into India. His consignment still hasn't come through.umlilosafaris wrote:
