Dear Members
I want to establish a new Shooting Club in Punjab. I have enough land. Please help in know the follwing:
1. Is there any specific area where we can establish such shooting clubs.
2. Can we start a shooting club on our own.
3. Whose prior permission is required to establish such club
4. Do we need to obtain any affiliations from any organisation e.g. NRAI
5. Do we need any licence for that.

Contact your DM.
He will forward your query to District Sports Officer.
Ask him. There's a possibility that a shooting/rifle club already exists in your district.
If it doesnt exist:-
It'll be the first club, so it'll come under state RA. Find friends and make a governing body, few members. 12-15 people . Then the DSO will give you an NOC. You'll be registered by Registrars of the society, and then affiliated to State RA, which automaticly brings you under NRAI.
If it exists:-
Then you either take membership or you still go for establishing your own. Then, make a body (12-15 people), get an NOC, get registered, and directly apply to NRAI.
