PS: Also the ammo did misfire every 15 or so shots... and I have seen youtube videos where they shot the Glock more than a 1000 rounds without a single misfire.. Not sure why we can't even make reliable bullets...

i too had problems with the IOF ammo out of 150 rounds i fired ,35 rounds misfired..and i didnt have any problem with the sound without the conversion kit,but with the conversion kit on ,the sound was unbareable

Thanks again for the photos and if you are in the armed forces, thank you for your service to the country.

I notice that in those photos, you did not have any kind of hearing protection. Shooting firearms without hearing protection is not a good idea. I can't imagine the racket in that confined space. Even a suppressed 9mm is too loud and requires us to wear hearing protection
If someday you want to hear the voices of your grandchildren, please use hearing protection. If you don't want to wear muffs, at least wear ear plugs. :D

The misconception is that you can get your ears acclimatized to loud sounds. This is not true, the damage caused by gunshots is cumulative, every shot will make it worse.
The more you are exposed to loud sounds, the worse your hearing will eventually become. Once your hearing is damaged, the damage cannot be repaired and you would then need hearing aids.

And I agree, though being in armed forces, there would be hardly any chance when you would be wearing ear protection while using them,but in a range you can wear.

BTW, are protection gear available in Army?

And in which wing are you? Which scheme?

thank you sir for your valuable advice..would definitely take the measures from next time i go down range..
and yes i would definitely love to hear the sweet voices of my grand children,nothing can be compensated with that :mrgreen:

i am more to do with the cops ;)
not serving as of now ,but Yes in a few months from now getting commissioned

Thanks for this advice.. My ear sure went gongggg after running through that much 9MM shots.. Next time I am sure to take ear plugs, and the muffler at the range are the orange colored huge ass ones.. Very uncomfortable in the heat
