Was driving up to Mussoorie today and found this jungle cat by the road side near the "Hathipaon bend". Run over by a speeding car probably a couple of days ago.

A difficult animal to spot as it is mostly nocturnal.

If only people could drive a little slower and appreciate the beauty of nature. Rather than being in a hurry to start their "holiday".

Thanks XL, it was very cool...it danced almost for 10 min but alas you cant get off from the jeep in national parks. could have done better.

Hello Friends
Even i am going to join your club of Photography. Had a childhood dream of owning a camera. But had to settle down wid the camera on my mobile since last year. :lol: Now i have started saving up some money and i think it will fill the brim by october. I am thinking of gifting myself a DSLR on my birthday which is in october. :mrgreen: Right now i am all doing research on Cameras, DSLR Jargons like arpeture, Focal length, depth of field etc etc, and i am sure by October i might have done enough research and study on the hobby. My budget will be 60-70 K. I have considered Canon as the best all the time. So i have decided to go for Canon 60D. But even the Nikon D7000 is stealing the show out of me. Really confused among this both. If my Budget is 70K then i have two options.
1) Nikon D7000 with 18-105 mm VR lens costs around 74K.
2) Canon EOS 60D with 18-55 mm lens which costs 58K or with 18-135mm lens which costs around 74K

I have done a various searches on googles and read forums. They say it all depends on the lens we will use in future. As of now i wont buy a lens very soon after this purchase. So i am thinking of a good body. So i am confused between the Canon 60D and Nikon D7000. Both have their own advantages and disadvantages. Please advice what would be better.

Blackbuck dot the gardens around Akhbar's tomb "Sikandra" in Agra.
Released more than a hundred years ago by Lord Curzon.

Tahr, when under hunting pressure, hang around some fearsome country...this tahr is above the Tasman river near Mt Aorangi.
The mountain is Mt Sefton a couple of kilometers away from our highest Mt Aorangi (Cook)

So finally you got the hang of posting those snaps :)
That's an amazing snap of the Tahr. We have two species in India. The Himalayan and the Neelgiri. Which one is this?
I wouldn''t take a shot on that one..... He would go down rolling.
Waiting for more to come.
