so the wait will be long ........... :x
Dear brahmastra,

It seems you have not bought the gun yet.
I am also from Calcutta and I own a Canon LG65. It's really a majestic gun. I like the look of LG65, but many people don't.
Like many other brands, the quality of Canon LG65 has gone down recently. One of my relatives bought a LG65 in recent times. It has a very low powered spring. The quality of the stock is also very poor. But barrel is the heart soul of a gun. The barrel of LG65 is still one of the best in India.

My LG65 is considerably old and I changed the spring many times. Recently it is working on a Cherokee 35 spring. It's rear sight has become little loose. I have to fix it, but I am out of locktite solution.

If you wish, you can come to my place and try it. Here you can only use it indoors, at a range of 10mts.

I dont know about the new IHPs, but I shall surely recommend you a new Canon LG65 or LG95 and tune it according to your need.

Have a nice time..

@ 22cal

thanks a lot mate for inviting me at yur place. i really do appreciate yur concern. but i think it won't be possible as of now due to some prior appointments. i am sorry for that mate.
but the information that u provided was really helpful (considering the fact that u r in touch with a recent buyer, your relative, of the gun under question).
i have decided on buying the IHP 35 (.22 cal) for its accuracy since i have learned that they r making their barrels on a machine (of course foreign origin-some hammerllin, i am not sure about it though) which is as old as the company is and is the best and the only one in india. therefore i will give it a try.
n my cousin brother is in love with the aimco m200 (so am i). it looks like a gun but does it spits like a gun ?? i will test it n comment on it . it would be helpful if u have any info about this gun from a recent buyer who knows about its accuracy n power.
meanwhile i will give the cannon a miss as of now but will think of it later on surely.
u said that u r using custom springs on yur gun. what kind of fps do u get, any guess. from where u r buying these springs ? can u give me the address of the shop. n r u installing them on yur own? or a gunsmith did it for u. if yes, it would be nice if u can provide me his address maybe.
again thanks a lot for yur invitation n concern

hi folks
now that was a pretty long wait, but ultimately the aimco m200 is available now in the store and i got one for myself.
i opted not to buy the ihp 35 (my cousin bro is sad about that because i promised him that gun) for now but for a solid reason though, which i will talk about in the picture review thread for this rifle, which i will be doing soon.
for now i can say that this rifle is adequately (very) powerful (much powerful than ihp which has a softer spring) and very accurate ( equivalent to ihp which i have shot many times at my friends place). i can say this because i have already shot 500 pellets through it (m200) and there is no loss of power. the hardness of the trigger break has marginally reduced and is fairly the same as it was in the first shot, which shows it is not wearing out. the m200 is beauty gunnified !!!!!!!!!!!!
well thats for now more when i do the picture review ...........
