What is that green bag in pentagonal shape for?

It is a US Army Entrenching tool (a.k.a folding shovel).
The Green plastic cases usually had clips to hook to US "Alice" gear.

The revolver is .32 S&W, snub nose.
Cartridges are .32 S&W long.
Rifle is Diana 350 magnum classic in .177.

i wonder how well it locks.

Perhaps it is these giant blades which made the .32 long cartridges appear short to my eyes!

the folder is cold steel espada XL.
Its available in most of the online knife selling sites.
Cost, well it was too costly for me , but I made some adjustments for few months to get it
