Coolaman, Great work with the rifle. I'm looking out for an IOF 30.06 myself so suggestions on where I could get it in delhi will be helpful. How does one manage to get things like the scope and bipods in Delhi? Can you order them online, any issues with customs?

Also, have you used the Khadarpur range, any idea whats the process of getting a membership there?

Thanks dear...you can get easily on gud gun shops secondly the scope is restricted to import, u can hand carry from abroad or get on this or other sites in india, bipods can be bought online no problem..yes I hav been to the range for bigbore competition..I don't think they had opened any kind of membership yet..

I don't care if I fall as long as someone else picks up my gun and keeps on shooting.

Where did you source the new parts from? Have you noticed any improvement after the change? Have you blueprinted the action?

Regards and all the very best to you and your modified rifle. Happy shooting!

But I don't understand the arrow part on the chamber . I have seen barrels swapped but still why some one would take the material off the base of the barrel - Haji

Even if it were allowed, you could not, since the bolt locks into recesses in the barrel, or a barrel extension, not in the receiver.

Why would you want to change a perfectly good barrel?

Let me say I like your rifle. Those white spacers may be old but I have a Weatherby Mark 5 Deluxe 300 mag. and a Weatherby Mark 5 Varmitmaster 22-250 Both came with white spacers These were $1000+ guns so if you like them keep them. They never go out of style Rpn
