Thinning down the barrel in such manner is certainly going to impact the accuracy especially for repeat shots when barrel gets heated up. Otherwise also thin barrels vibrate more. As it is the original thickness is thin enough. Cosmetic changes are okay but changing the integrity of the weapon will bring doubtful gains.

Maybe I like bell bottoms so I guess the white spacers are cool. I definitely find it better than the factory offering. While Boby's work is good the price is even better. He normally charges almost 1.8 lakhs, the work is great but add two more lakhs and you can buy a remington or what have you.

Getting a muzzle recrowned is OK
But I don't understand the arrow part on the chamber . I have seen barrels swapped but still why some one would take the material off the base of the barrel - Haji

Some of the Remington's I have seen are a definite step down and not a step up.In fact some are a pile of junk. They get tarted up and sold for that 2 lakhs extra.dev wrote: but add two more lakhs and you can buy a remington
Does he have customers at that price point? All said and done,if you were getting custom work done say in USA,some of the stock makers will charge you that much for the stock alone. Some will charge even more.Wood, checkering and any bells and whistles extra.dev wrote: While Boby's work is good the price is even better. '' Bobby Sidhu normally charges
1.8L '' I am confused as usual. Is it his charges with the price of the rifle or only for customisation ? If it is for only customisation , then 28L for a Beretta Cheetah is right.

There is a substantial difference between 1.8 lakhs and 28 lakhs. Also one is a rifle and the other a pistol.Pradyumna wrote: If it is for only customisation , then 28L for a Beretta Cheetah is right.

Re: My Modified IOF 30-06 Rifle with Pics
My point is in India,if the work like bluing, stock making, polishing, lapping, grinding, aligning ( I am not aware other ..ing s involved ) for a rifle reported to be surprisingly accurate costs 1.8L , then a brand new Beretta cheetah in to-days import policy or an old ppk for 8-10L is definitely not surprising.( Remembering pistols are way costlier than rifle). Every one is making money out of this stupid policy. Imagine... If a common licenced holder is allowed to import a Win. Mod 70 or like , what will be the customisation/repair rate ? It will simply be out.

Pradyumna,
A Beretta Cheetah is a mass produced firearm.8-10 lakhs is an obscene price to pay for one.Pistols are also some of the easiest firearms to make.Guns these days are built to a price. You may surprised at the 'quality' of some you so dearly wish to posses.

Dear its the orignal design no material has been removed its only grinding finish and slight radius had been made as there were machining marks orignally secondly the small dent is caused due to buffing when I removed the rear sight. I purposely left it undone.Hammerhead wrote:Getting a muzzle recrowned is OK
