Price suggestion for .22 hornet and .17 hmr rifle

Hi Guys,
At what price I can get a decent .22 hornet rifle and a .17 hmr rifle. Are these rifles common in India. What is the price of their ammo too.

I think you can get .22 hornet rifle in India but i am sure about the price also i don't think so anybody have a .17 hmr ( Hornady Magnum Rimfire ) in India because it's a new caliber and came in to the market back in 2002 by Hornady, it's .22mag. necking down to .17 and have a aroud 2550 FPS but down side with .17 hmr is if you are faceing cross wind then bullet going to be all over the place because bullet is so light and wind is it the biggest enemy.

If some one have .17 hmr in India , Please post a picture with feedback.

Hi.....22 hornet is a decent and accurate cartridge, for the limited choice of calibers we have out here. .22 highpower is also a good choice, since u can find ammo around. offrecent .22 hornets are scarce and u'd be very lucky to find one in good condition at a decent price. I had seen one on sale in kolhapur...was a walther.. seemed to be in excelent condition.

.22 Hornet rifles usually go for between Rs. 1,50,000 to Rs. 4,00,000 depending upon the make and condition. Ammunition is in the range of Rs. 100 to Rs. 150 per cartridge depending upon where you buy it from. Some dealers quote even higher prices.
