Knife to a Gun-fight-Warning-User Discretion.

Post by Vikram » Tue Mar 27, 2012 1:10 am

Those of you who are of delicate sensibilities , please do not proceed further.

Watch it to the end and draw your own conclusions.

My conclusion: It is OK to hold your pistol sideways if you can knockout the bad guy with one well-placed shot.

Aloha,

The Store owner was very Lucky to actually hit his attacker at all in that situation with the first shot.

I don't think holding the gun sideways would have any bearing.

I tried shooting my Beretta 96, 40SW holding it sideways to the left and missed 8 balloons about 4+

inches in size at 10 yards. I was trying to use the sights. With practice, I know I can do better.

I also tried shooting my 22 cal Beretta 87 UPside down. I did manage to hit 4 of the 8 balloons.

This was an experiment done After organized shooting was over in the presence and with the

permission of my club President. All the other instructors present found it to be interesting.

Next time I do it, I wil try to have video taken.

The customer being attacked is lucky he was not the one who got shot.Of course all Turks are bad ass.I am sure, he would have shrugged off being shot and walked 10km's to the hospital

I agree turks are handful and blunt - know it first hand worked with few and have turkish friends.
A family friend of ours was caught fatally in a similar situation in Mississippi when the intruder also had a gun ..its all about reflexes training and luck .

As I understand, all Turkish men have to serve in their army.No wonder they are capable of fighting it out.
