"Gooood Dog Pepper."
Interestingly Pepper's tail has not been docked.

One of my favourite snaps with my cousin's "docked" spaniels in the Ganga Khadar.
There is an old saying which goes like this:
"A woman , a spaniel and a walnut tree . The more you beat the better it be." :) :)

We briefly had a Cocker Spaniel back in the '80's, unfortunately he was dognapped within the year :( The chap certainly had character!

Cheers!

Prashant,

A very nice bunch of pooches there. Is any of them trained?

Docking was probably not needed in that area-absence of fences, thorny stuff etc.

I will not hesitate to beat a walnut tree, even if I don't know what I get in return.A Spaniel- not interested in getting bitten. A woman? Certainly not interested in getting bitten, beaten and bludgeoned. ROTFL ROTFL

what a dog. those of you who have hunted with dogs will know what a pleasure it is. What a pleasure it is to see them work and retrieve. I once shot a teal which fell on the other side of the creek behind a mudbank, i couldnt see where it had landed.
My friends lab ran across the marsh, swam across the creek, climber over the mudbank and disappeared. after a couple of minutes came up on the bank empty 'handed' (mouthed). My friend made the signs seeing which he went back for what seemed an eternity. finally emerged with the teal. It is all the more memorable as it was my first teal.

Wow! What a dog!
What heart and intelligence!
