Do you have any problems reading my posts?
Asif's problem is that he is confused. He doesn't known whether he fits in with the Southern Gentlemen or you Northern Monkeys.
And yes, his posts can be excruciatingly painful to read, leave alone understanding them.
P.S.: I have always fancied a Falkie Idun. If the price, including postage, is right, I would be interested. Thanks.

Carbon steels take an edge more easily but also lose them more easily.
High carbon steel is harder and more tensile. In fact a high carbon steel which is tempered to around 60 RC is difficult to sharpen and holds edge better than lower carbon steels.

Mehul,
Can you also tell us where you don't have any contacts. Man I think even pope knows you...
. I will be very interested if the price is right but i hope this doesn't go the way other IFG knife project has gone.

Inder,
Not my connections at all - I didn;t even know that such a company existed until I saw Grumpy's post and asked Johan.
To all interested members:
This is just speculation - I doubt that I would have a problem getting a knife delivered to the US but do you think that ordering it with delivery by DHL would make a difference? Just speculating...
If it is too risky, then, of course, it would not be worth risking money on this from India. I'm onlyt rying to resurrect an old IFG plan that has been dormant for some time.
Cheers!

Ah.....with you now - sorry Asif. WM13G - the `Little Favourite`.
I rather like F1BM in the fixed blades.
I`m not a `knife nut` either Mehul but they are necessary tools - and having the right knife for the job makes life much easier.
