The GSG guns have a lot of plastic and are basically replicas.
However, there are actual AK47 training rifles (in .22LR) made by former Warsaw Pact countries:
Manufactured in Romania, the NEW M10-22 Series is a brand new 22LR training rifle. Originally conceived as a military training firearms, they have the same weight and material specifications that the standard caliber 7.62x39 AK style rifles. They come with standard cold-hammer barrels, windage/elevation adjustable rear sight, RAZR Muzzle break and one ten round magazine.
