FAKE IHP 35....serious issue.

Post by akhimot » Wed Mar 07, 2012 2:09 pm

What if Aimco is selling fake IHP 35, made in its own aimco factory. Its only my guess because my friend owning a IHP 35 (purchase from a local dealer @ Rs. 5800) 5 years old and in excellent condition without any rust and excellent accuracy till date. My IHP 35 was purchased from aimco 1 year back @ Rs. 4500 and now its begun to rust and also suffering from loss of accuracy. So my question to this forum is that is it possible that Aimco is selling fake IHP rifles made in its own factory???

IHP 35 market price varies everywhere from 4500 and can go upto 10K. In Delhi even its between 5500 and 9500.
Rust could be because of your mishandling, you can use ballistol products for oiling and other purposes. Inaccuracy could be because of rust, dry seal or bad pellets. Take it to a good gun smith, get it tuned and see the difference.
Still if you have any doubt about your rifle mail its serial number to IHP and check if its genuine or not.

And your tone sound like a serious allegation without having any proof.

Doubt Aimco would sell u a fake air gun....Have personally known the owner for years now and I doubt he would supply us a fake. Rust could be mishandling...

Agreed!! Personally I feel Joy Biswas is a fair businessman.Beside that Aimco is a very trusted brand.Talking about rust, the quality of Ihp is nose diving year by year....low in material, low in craftmanship....(Though its still the best in India)...You can even find far better 20 year olds than your one year old gun.....

Cheers

I too have dealt with Joy for years. I know him to be a sincere and honest individual. As pointed out by others, there's been tremendous variation in IHP quality control over the years. If you have a problem I suggest you contact Joy. I'm fairly sure he'll do everything he can to help you.

Hi everyone i am posting this comment for Mr wiser's comment that we are selling fake ihp, how did he come to such a conclution is our fair price the reason to believe that it is fake? Ihp is being sold for more than 8000 in most parts of the country we are the only one selling at mrp and timely delivering in all parts of India. The rust on a airrifle is because of maintenance and has nothing to do with the product. I have sold innumerable ihp products to members of this forum i will post a seperate topic for their response. On the piston of each ihp airrifle there is a stamp of ihp to proof the authenticity, further there is no mention of the buyers name or the date of purchase as ihp was out of stock for the last one year and it is available only recent 15days.
Whats amazing is the person never came to us with his complaint neither did he complained to ihp about us for selling fake products, his wild accusation is nothing but a consipiracy to malign us so that people stop buy from us and keep buying ihp products at exorbitant price from others. I also would like to thank my friends well wishers who have stood by us by supporting us in this post, i guess it really is time for celebrations as i believe that such attacks on my company only proves that we are on the right track and our growing reputation is the envy of a lot of fradulent dealers and their allies.

It has come to our attention that the OP (WISER) is a previously registered member who is posting from this ID. I have sent him a PM to clarify this. If the mods do not receive a satisfactory response from the OP, both IDs will be permanently banned.

In case anyone here is unaware of the IFG rules, registering & posting under more than one ID is NOT ALLOWED and is grounds for automatic permanent ban from the forum.

Cheers!

I bought a .177 IHP35 from Aimco couple of years ago and it is in pristine condition. The entire transaction for a joyful one. I was very happy with the service provided and the price charged.

You can't say they are selling duplicate stuff just because yours caught rust. Did you take necessary care to ensure that it did not catch rust.

To answer your question, It is absolutely impossible that AIMCO will do such a thing............

As an example of overcoming adversity, Karoly Takacs has few peers. He was part of Hungary’s world champion pistol-shooting team in 1938, when an army grenade exploded, crippling his right hand. Ten years later, having taught himself to shoot with his left, he won two gold medals in the rapid-fire class.

I would like to reiterate, that quality control should be our main concern about Ihp.Aimco sell what they get from Ihp co. Mr. Wiser, you should rather contact with Ihp.

Mr. Joy this is a open forum not a consumer court. As far as my topic is concern it was my personal point of view, Iam not telling others to believe me.
Aside Mr. Abhijeet, I dont know who you are, but if you are the admin of this IFG forum, you should represent this forum and its members not Aimco i guess, And yes i do have a previous ID but I no longer remember it.
