Re: Charging a PCP Cylinder
Again, not sure - though theoretically possible, but how would the moisture affect the inside of the cylinder and the firing system may be a question worth considering. It should be ambient air (something you breathe, not pure Oxygen) with low moisture content.

Re: Charging a PCP Cylinder
never fill your pcp cylinder from puncher wala or any other compresser because the air which is coming out have lot of moisture in it will damage the gun always fill pcp cylinder from compresser which are made for pcp refill or pcp refilling pump which are made for them they have a function which absorbing the moisture from the air .

Hi Sniper,snIPer wrote:if Im not mistaken - It can be filled up at your local gas station ( i mean petrol & not Indane ) with the air tyre filling compressor using an adapter.
/S/
The gas station air filler won't have that pressure (220 bar). One needs a scuba tank or the hill pump or whatsoever that is dedicated to filling pcp airguns anything else could be lethal for the user.
To ride, to speak up, to shoot straight.

Re: Charging a PCP Cylinder
Hi All,
I am a noob here, have just finalised Precihole PX 100 classic for INR30.5K
Is there any more powerful PCP gun available in this price range?
Also help me with the cost to recharge 300 bar SCBA tank. I have ordered that as well because hand driven pump is not my thing and electric compression pump are too costly.

Dear MNA,if you are willing to wait for a month you can choose between PX100 Achilles and GM10 PCP Air rifle.
Presumably this new pcp air rifle will be in same price range as of Achilles.

Max Power would be same for any PCP made in India due to the legal restrictions.

Re: Charging a PCP Cylinder
Where are you located. SCBA tanks need to be refilled and you need a facility offering that. Or you need to buy a compressor.MNA wrote: ↑Mon Jan 13, 2020 9:05 pmHi All,

Re: Charging a PCP Cylinder
Hi GNV,
I am from South Delhi and have purchased Draeger Breathing cylinder 300 Bar.
Now when i am trying to purchse its refill assembly ( connections and hosing etc) the suppliers are asking specifications of threading and bla bla....m going nuts.
I know that PX100 fill probe has 1/8" male thread but have no clue of Draeger's female threading.
I searched and on 1 website i found Thread:M18x1.5 now i am confused if the threading is for valve to hose connection (1) or cylinder to Valve (2).
It would be great if you can give me an idea of refill charge for SCBA tank and where in Delhi (south Delhi preferred) i can get my tank recharged.
Thanks in advance

Sorry if i am asking noob question, for pcp and shooting, i am in nascent state.
(figuring out how to tag people for mentioning in my reply)

Life saver for me as well, is dieseling safe in pcp?hamiclar01 wrote: ↑Wed Jul 06, 2011 5:02 pmPLEASE DO NOT USE OXYGEN TO CHARGE YOUR PCP. OXYGEN WITH SEALS/GREASE IS GOING TO BE COMBUSTIBLE. ONE BANG AND IT'S ALL OVER.
I am using caps lock and shouting here as I am afraid you are going to lose you life, and eye or a limb, never mind the gun. There is a picture floating in airgun forums of a blown up air rifle which was charged with oxygen.
Please either use an appropriate scuba tank, or an air rifle pump to charge your gun to the recommended pressure
