Let me know, Badshah.

I have friends with bolt action rifles who could use these rounds as well.

If you are getting the information then get me all the details please - bullet weight, soft point or not, etc.

Thanks.

Hi Mack The Knife,

I checked with the dealer. He has 375 H&H Magnum Flanged rounds. Bulk of them are loose and possibly old- Ex state stock ie purchased from ex rulers. Some ammo is in boxes (packing of 5)Made by Kynoch. Also available is 244 Flanged ammo, 470 Bore ammo etc. His only condition to sell is THAT THE BUYER MUST HAVE A VALID ALL INDIA LICENCE.

With all the goings on missed this thread... Seems like you had you a good time Mack The Knife!

I haven't shot anything larger than a .30-06 myself... and that was ages ago! :(

Cheers!

It's a right sorry state of affairs isn't it?

There are countries where people wont give a second thought about shooting an '06 or a .375 and yet most of us treat the experience as something extraordinary.

So how hard was it to give the rifle back Dodger ?
You`re right - most of us never do get to shoot the larger calibres. In that respect I`ve been much luckier than most however even though I have a .375 variation I`ve never owned one.......although that might change if I can find a falling block at a good price. I`ve got a variation for a .416 as well and, even though I owned one briefly ( a CZ 550 ), I won`t renew it as I`ll never use one.
.......I can justify a .375 H&H for Red Stags.

Somehow that never occured to me.

One thing that did impress me was how solidly it locked shut.

Take it from me Dodger that you wouldn`t want to fire a .375 H&H that didn`t shut positively ! Any slack in the jointing would result in horrible recoil and a gun that would junk itself very quickly.

Aren't you planning to transfer it to Delhi along with the PPK?

At what stage is the licence to licene transfer? If you are going to be in the U.S. this May, you may as well bring back as many rounds as possible.
