Re: SOG INFO
Why do you want to limit yourself to Pune only? I do understand that it will perhaps be convenient but do not limit yourself!

Re: SOG INFO
Let us know which models of SOG and Gerber that you are comparing so we may express our opinions. Both are decent knife makers. Thanks.SOGLover wrote:I was checking reviews About Jungle Primitive and I want to know if it would be better to buy a SOG or a GERBER???

Re: SOG INFO
You will have the same issue with warranties and replacements from India. It will cost you a lot too as the shipping back will be on your expense.
The Jungle primitive that you are looking at has a blade length of more than 9" which is enough to put you on the wrong side of the law.
The blade material is not the best available but is enough and the Krayton handle will provide a non slip grip.
You will have to figure out how to use and maintain the saw and the serrated edge on the knife.
There is nothing wrong with the knives imported from china, many good knives are, as these are made to the specifications of the company which sells it.
Let us know which one are you inclined to buy.

Re: SOG INFO
I am definitely looking for Jungle Primitive as i go camping regularly and its just not a knife but a tool....i have tried other local knives which have an average blade of 3-5 inches and did not work at well though these knives were very sharp.....hence m looking forward for not just a knife but a complete camping tool kind of thing and Jungle Primitive kind of a 4in 1 piece....no offense but a swiss army knife is useless as i have tried 3 different ones...
