ribaalber: From the front sight of the revolver it appears to be mark II (its definitely not mark III).The grips are same as they are on mark III revolver. Maybe mark II came with grips same as on mark III or its original grips have been changed with mark III. I think some senior member will be able to shed more light on it. These ammo are definitely S&B, I own exactly the same. The picture appears original to me.

b) CED @20% Rs.6000/-
Total Rs. 36,000/-
UP trade Tax @ 12% Rs.4320
Surcharge on U.P. trade tax @ 25% Rs.1080/-

Hi Guys,

I am back after a long break.. good to see you all.

The pic posted is of Mark II, the front sight of mk ii used to look better than mk iii.

mk iii has this ramped like front sight, I dont know why, it is too big and hurts while conceal carry.

It appears from the photograph that the finish has improved. Let us hope that the trend to improve its look may continue.

whats the cost of this revolver ex Kanpur now.has it increased beyond what the IOF website says.also are bookings ex Chandigarh on or not

just browsing the smith and wesson usa website-a 38 6 shot revolver costs $ 780 today thats almost one third the price of this desi katta, but then what a pity,what a pity indeed

read through all 42 pages- i think delivery at Kanpur is much faster than Chandigarh-am i right or are thing faster in Chandigarh

Yes, the delivery at Kanpur is faster than Chandigarh. At Kanpur its around two months where as at Chandigarh its around 4-6 months. Also at Chandigarh you never know when they start or stop the booking.

From Rurkee you just place order at Muradnagar and take rest.

Got new mak 3 iof rev. Made in feb 2012. It has got various new n improved design n material. Coating is world class,grooves are deep n distinguished,,chamber seems to be more sturdy,seems tobe best econo :D mical option avl in india.
