" a vegi is an Indian who can not hunt" just rice and dhal man rice and dhal with chilly :D

there is something about hunting in NAGA areas, like old tradition etc, in some areas it is a common practice when a hunting parties go out, after the hunt , what ever is potted, the heart of the animal goes to the owner of the land where the animal was killed. also the meat is shared between the hunting parties, tradition says which part of the animal goes to whom. its a wealth distribution at work. so no one is left out.

if a gun is borrowed then the owner will also get a part of the game.

its is common to kill the animal and make a feast there and then of the most tasty parts(guts) unless it has been decided to carry the animal back home.

now days its common to sell the meat in the market areas, still in many parts the old way is kept.
