Like Nagarifle says, Welcome Aboard! There is quite a bit of knowledge here, with it covering both India and North America.

Welcome Aeronauteek. I am born and bred in Mumbai myself - spent almost half of my youth and a third of my life (till 2003) in the US. Back in Mumbai since. Hope you benefit from the rich harvest of information and guidance on this forum.

Nagarifle, Mark, Hammerhead, Airgun_Novice,
Thanks U all for the welcome. I am actually setteled in Texas.
Shall stay in Touch. I am very very confused though about PB and NPB. Here is why .....
PB = Could mean 2 things. Permitted Bore and also Prohibited Bore.
Similarly NPB = Could mean 2 things. Non Prohibited Bore and also Non Permitted Bore.
Regards !

Hi Aeronauteek,
> Welcome aboard to the Greatest of Gun Forums
> Now PB or NPB doesn't matter as long as you are in Texas - just join a shooting club and sharpen your shooting skills - have fun

Re: Hi .... an Introduction from Aeronauteek !
Are you in DFW by any chance ? They used to have a couple of good ranges (indoors) there where they even 'rented' out Eagle .38. Fort Worth also has a good range - forgot all the details - left TX in 1996.Aeronauteek wrote:Nagarifle, Mark, Hammerhead, Airgun_Novice,

Hello Airgun_Novice :
Yes I am in the DFW Area. Now there are many Ranges all over DFW. Out door and Indoor Ranges.
In my area itself there are about 5 good ones.

Re: Hi .... an Introduction from Aeronauteek !
They even had a rodeo cum free shootout championship in the Forth Worth area where "cowboys" enacted shootout (on glass bottles and cattle skulls, thankfully) from horseback; that too in motion. Plus of course the usual stuff - lasso, bull fight etc. Kids even had special calves to do theirs. The area smelt heavily of leather and dung; but boy ! One should see their silver belt buckles - the size of saucers. As they say "Everything's big in TX" But nice place. Though I liked it there I still preferred AZ where I spent subsequent 2 years. I spent over 2 yr in Beaumont near Houston and then 2 in Arlington (DFW). I remember once when we went to a "redneck", err, cowboy joint named Bull Pit or something such in Fort Worth and all my friends like the rest of 'em fellers ordered steak and beer (that too "Bud") while I asked for buffalo wings and wine - the few gents and the ladies too turned around and stared at me with "This Man is from Mars" look. BTW, wonder if Iguana and Mirage 2000 dance clubs still exist in Dallas ??? Ah - the memories.. hee-haw !
