Loctite Blue or Red?

Here in US, Loctite blue is very popular among airgunners. It is no difficult to get loctite blue as they are pretty visible in the supermarket. In case of India it is not the similar. If you go to any machinery store alsio they will not understand if you ask them for a Locktite blue

So here is a solution for you. Go to a machine shop and ask for locktite 243 Funny thing is the bottle is RED in color

Anabond I have tried in India. Nothing as compared to 243. Yes Loctite is very very costly. It is about $10 but works great!

243 is more strength and Resistance to oil.

IIRC 243 (Loctite Blue) is available for under 300 rupees for 150 ml or thereabouts. BTW it's called "blue" due to the colour of the glue and not the colour of the bottle! For most users, that's a lifetime supply, for others it's at least 5-10 years supply. What's there to crib about? It's not likely to be available at your local hardware store, but go down to the wholesale market and it will almost certainly be available there. Besides guns I've been using the stuff for tons of other things and it's truly a great product. YMMV

In India it's compulsory to mention a expiry date as per the packaging act.

In most cases, it' has no relevance to life of the product except in food and medicines.

Just so you are aware about the colors

RED is Permanent good luck in trying to Remove something you used RED on

BLUE is Semi-Permanent, It SHOULD come apart with some force. 6mm or larger

PURPLE is like Blue but for Smaller than 6 mm items.
