The leopard on the buttpad will leave a nice imprint on your shoulder, when you shoot the .300 WM.

Who says you have to fire it after you buy the 'thing'.Many of the heavily engraved guns do not seem to be put to much use as well.Probably too valuable to drag through the bush.

If you are not going to fire a gun, why buy it? Kind of defeats the purpose completely.

So what you are saying is that if you date a Victoria's Secret model, all you want to do is ogle at her?

Well still defeats the purposes of both the girl and the gun. Guns are meant to be shot, and dates ah well... this supposed is a family friendly site. But the saying a screen door banging in a hurricane gets the message across.
If I were dating a Victoria's Secret Model Ogling would be the one thing I would not be doing. Simillarly if I own a rifle I shoot it.

Lets put it this way, there is plenty of time to sleep when you are dead. I can think of at least 36 different exercises more fun than sleep, and then I would get creative.

Ha! Time to put some popcorn in the mike!
"With solid bullets on heavy animals such as elephant, rhino and buffalo this power is quite apparent but is not so obvious as when soft-nose bullets are being used, say, lion, particularly when is a case of stopping a charge : the .404 will stop him all right, but will seldom crumple him quite so completely as will the .416" -- John Taylor, Big Game and Big Game Rifles, (Ch. IX)
