Beautiful drop point VG-10 hollowground blade . Some impressive specs there. The G10 Scales have a wood like grains, why would you wnat to change this. Did you order this online, how much did this dent your wallet by considering it's VG-10.

No problems with custom folks I hope,I am thinking of ordering a gerber folding knife and a KA-BAR fixed blade from cabelas.

Hi Boris ,
As long as the blade is not longer than 9" and wider than 2" there is no problem with customs at all.

Not really, as some ancient clause in our customs rules states good more than 2000 rs cannot be purchased and brought into the country. I got a knife stopped at Mumbai customs precisely for this reason. Basically if you use expensive shipping like Ems, and have a relatively small value in comparison to the shipping cost (mine was 45 against 27), they smell undervaluation. In my case everything was correct, and I had to show invoices to them and get it released. The knife was 3" long and 1" wide!!!jkamritraj wrote:Hi Boris ,

Moral - either use USPS priority mail international, or FedEx and the likes. FedEx has its own clearing house with customs, so at least your package is not held back, but maybe assessed for duty and released.
