Well this topic started with use, import and legality of blanks in india and where it has gone.

well guys every1 knows u cant defend urself with a blank so I do not think people ask for blank as a protection or for posing
they can be used to threat as they look just like real but they cant kill
Well same like Saif I also want to buy one blank for collection and just some air shooting for fun and surely if its not imported I will not take it because it really doesnt make sense to pay 50K to get here in india from some gun dealer which actually cost arnd 12-18K along with shipping

Now there are sites which ship to india many many for CO2 and for blanks also
Question is:

"Has any1 imported a "Blank Gun" it before?" as far as I have read arms act 1959 I do not think you need license to hold a blank as it does not shoot a projectile, now is the guy standing at custom will listen to wat u say? will he actually allow you to take something which looks 100% real gun but is not real.

Other thing is can u carry it in ur baggage from abroad to india?
From US you can ship it in luggage by stating blank or toy gun in ur check list
but wt happens wen u arrive at india?

and they are not illegal coz if they were people and gun delaers wont be selling them openly, its just a matter to get it from outside without any hick or if u r dying to have it go ahead and pay 50-80K for something which is not worth more than 10-12K in actual price.
I would like this to be answered by someone who actually owns a blank gun and can tell all of us from where and in how much he got it
