thanks ashok
a friend had informed me that a good .44 lever action rifle that has been sparingly used is available at about Rs 80000 . . . . but i dont think at that price of ammo it would be a good choice . . . the only attraction it has is a high magazine capacity. . what do you say?

Make sure the caliber is .44 Magnum and not .44-40 Winchester (aka .44 WCF, .44 Winchester, .44 largo)arjun401 wrote:thanks ashok

Re: .44 availability
hi arjun the market value of .44 caliber lever action rifle is around 60 thousand and if it is in good condition then you can pay 65 thousand not more then that.my advise is if you dont shoot too much then buy it but before that you have to check several things like grooves condition, butt condition and has it been polished or not and another impotant thing mentioned by xl target it should be .44 rifle only nothing else.if you are purchasing from dealer then you have to pay extra attention towards rifle and before purchasing post some pictures on forum from every angle.if it is .44 caliber and very less used and no repairing work is done then it could turn out to be a good deal for 65000 thanks
