Don't go for this weapon buy a .32 instead. No point getting into the hassle of changing the chamber and inviting legal as well as potential accidental risk. tc

I have been using a .32 revolver , I am sure there's no .22 revolver made by IOF. Well, the weapon is quite robust and sturdy with no stoppages. It is not a bad buy for the price it comes for.

So you have not seen the great alluminium revolver of IOF as yet. Its cool man cool..... untill fire it.

Dear MoA, u can buy the brand new .22 from the Dealers too. No need to buy from the IOF only. BUt, the dealers charge extra than the stipulated rates. H&H from Mumbai does keep them, but be carefull when dealing with them.

I am amused to see so many negatives about the .22 IOF revolver. I have few weapons and all for different objectives. The .22 is an effective deterrent, very light, fits in to your pocket, you don't have to tote it around your waist, packs 8 rounds, pretty accurate, mine has fired over 150 rounds and absolutely no problem.
The price is very low, hence most dismiss it, well I don't. Performance is not lacking, aesthetics could have been better, but you get what you pay for.
You can get much farther with a kind word and a gun than you can with a kind word alone.

Getting a revolver made from a black smith is totally illegal and i would request all IFGians to stay away from such thoughts&comments, buy weapons from an authorised dealer or legal IOF outlet.

It is not cheap in any way.Rather it is highly overpriced. For the over $1000 that you pay for it,you should be able to get something like this http://www.smith-wesson.com/webapp/wcs/ ... rrorView_Y

Image

This is cheaper than a S&W .22 revolver in India, thanks to the import restriction

Brand new 2011 batch IOF .22 revolvers are available with a dealer in Delhi, that too at controlled rates (around INR 42 K).
