Fishing in and around the NCR

Post by joydeepm » Sun Aug 28, 2011 4:40 pm

Well, location of this place cannot be revealed - not without Abhijeet's permission anyway . Its a fantastic place for Anglers and Climbers . I do not fish - but I tagged along for the fun of it - and caught my first fish . It was raining early morning so I was a little apprehensive - it however turned out to a fine day . 4 of us hit the road early morning and reached the spot at about 7:30 a.m. Dev was the undisputed champion - caught 5 rohus .

enjoy the pictures :

Seems like an amazing outing! That too with a short trip to the village pond.

Can't stop laughing still.... there were low hanging overhead power lines and only moments before, I had got a strict lecture from the 'Big' one about the danger of electrocution if my line ever touched the power lines.... And lo !! the very next toss, and my line suddenly 'caught the wind' and flew over like a kite and over and around the power lines...

So it was a loss of a borrowed white/red floater along with hook and sinker, not forgetting the vanilla scented bait too !

So next time the gents who visit the place, can be sure to see my hanging 'ball' in the 'middle of the sky'... :P

Hmm...lets see buffaloes, lakes, rappelling, atleast 1 1/2 to 2 hours journey. Looks like Bhalswa lake in northeast Delhi however, not far enough enough to take 2 hours...Maybe its somewhere in Faridabad, Sohna? Badkhal? Oh well never mind, great catch and great pics anyway.

Surely not badkhal . Last visit toward sohna, eveything had dried up all thanks to the illegal mining. But then all thanks to it new spots have come up :D

This place is somewhere near faridabad. Since the thread starter has not mentioned the name of the place, I am also not revealing the exact name of the place. Its everybody's guess now.
