I understand what you are trying to say. But this is the 'only' info that she was able to provide. That is the reason I asked for some informed members from Cuttack to go and have a look at it.
Bolt action is a 8mm Mauser. A Stutzen as some of the members told me earlier.
Please help me identify this shotgun and bolt action rifle.

Yes, "Stutzen" is German for "carbine"; and in sporting rifles those were usually fitted with a full-length stock. A tangent rear sight is unusual on a Stutzen, though Mauser provided various sight combinations.
