CZ rimfire rifle

Friends,
I recently was at a shooting range and as usual I was browsing the inventory of the store and came upon this beautiful gun I have seen in a while. It was a
CZ-452 FS, (http://www.cz-usa.com/products/view/cz-452-fs/) I wanted to get some opinion on this gun as it is fairly new to the US market. I know a lot of you outside US might have heard and used this gun. I was looking in .17HRM caliber. Please let me know your thoughts on this gun.

While the fully stocked 452 might be new in the US, CZ's are not that new here. The 452 is a dandy rifle in almost all its incarnations.
Almost everyone who has them likes them. I don't think you can go far wrong with a CZ, especially a tried and true design like the 452.

Get the 452/455 American (straight stock and no sights) for shooting. The 452FS/452 Lux(my gun) have stocks that are not optimized for scope usage, also the rear tangent+large hooded front sight combo gets in the way of a low-mounted scope and need to be removed.

Having said that, the FS/Lux versions, have killer classic looks, emotional appeal played a major role in my getting the Lux 2 years ago. Have used high mounts, so the sights stay. Some work on the trigger, improvement in the bedding etc., the rifle shoots better than most others in my arsenal.

For the money you cannot go wrong with the CZ, if you want to spend a lot more then, "the Anschutz" are better rifles.
