Hello Striker,
Please remove my test mail reference from your reply to me as I wanted to edit my post and have edited also.
The earlier one I fee was a little bit offensive.

Thanks
Babu

With ref. to Karizman
Although I think he is a professional businessman. He is reilable with orders and you will not have any problems purchasing from them if you want it at 54/60k. Everyone does business for money and that is what he does and I find nothing wrong with it.
But I will hold myself responsible, if I buy from them at this price.
There are other ways to get it, mentioned in this forum.

but I will narrate what happenned when I went to Gunmark with my Diana 54 Airking which I bought in imported in India via Mumbai as personal luggage.
Mr. Kulkarni claimed that it was fake, made in China, although I knew what he was saying was not correct in anyway, I did not say anything.
He claimed only he can provide the real original ones.
He keeps on claiming to be weapons advisor for many countries.
What advice he can give them if (apart from govt.) no gun mfgr./dealer is allowed to do business in India.
Babu

p.s. members of Pimpri-Chinchod-Nigdi (Pune) can we meet somewhere.
I'm confused... are you saying that IFG member Karizman is Mr. Kulkarni of Gunmark/ G Smith Pune? Or are you giving feedback on two different people?

Cheers!

And if anybody is so obsessed about 350 magnum, my humble piece of advice is take a flight to Dubai, go to Deira, go to Al-Sayyad stores or Alsamnan stores, buy your gun, put in your luggage after declaring at Dubai airport, come to India the next day, pay duty and get your gun in a few days.
Will cost more or less same(all expenses including your airticket visa etc.) as what Gunmark quotes.
If not if some of your friends are in Dubai tell them to bring one. Not a rocket science. Try to save money and get the gun also instead of paying these weapons advisors.

Thanks & regards
Babu

Dear Members,
Karizman is no other than A. Y. Kulkarni who is limelighting himself for earning a better commission. This person is not an authorized dealer for Diana as Diana has no dealer in India because importing air guns on commercial level is not allowed.(Please check the list of the dealers of Diana on the Diana's web-site.) It is because they are as good as a .22 rifle and can be used or are obviously used for hunting which is banned in this country. A Diana 350 magnum hits a deer down in no time ! A Sumatra 2500 kills a wild bore at the first stroke !!
Now from where do A. Y. brings Dianas ? The shooters or the peole coming from abroad are allowed to bring air guns as a part of their luggage. It is because commercial import is not allowed but not the individual import !! These people sell their guns to the local shopkeepers like A. Y. who buy them giving a sound profit to the owners and sell them to the gun-addicts for horrible prices. All the shopkeepers are brothers and sisters of A. Y. So no use of blaming someone. He is only a representative of many others who are fleecing the poor gun lovers.
Now what should be done ? Import a gun of your own !! The original price of an imported air gun is too less. Diana 460 magnum costs you for Rs. 27,500/- only. Though you have to pay shipping charges and an import duty still that amount is not more than Rs. 5000/-. Pyramid Air Guns is the most reliable exporting company who exports almost all the guns of the world.( Please see the web-site Pyramid Air Guns.)

May I know from where you got this piece of information? Some solid fact or evidence is highly appreciable. Some Air rifles / PCP rifles do use for mid game hunting , but they are not of .22 Caliber and the bullets are specially designed and casted.

Please be understand that PFA approached Delhi HC and they have issued a Mandatory license program for all air rifles on this ground, Some people including NRAI are challenging this decision and will appeal to Supreme Court. Any statement on this forum (apparently baseless) will serve no purpose other than supporting Anti's statements.

For your information Wild Boar is an extremely dangerous game, and facing them with a .22 Air Rifle ( Even of the most powerful make of this world) is just the other name of committing suicide. Even .22LR cartridge is not considered sufficient for taking down a charging wild boar. My Dad used to hunt wild boar with a 30.30 WCF (when hunting was allowed) and he had seen someone got almost killed by a charging wild boar when a Brno with .22 Sellier and Bellot ammo could not stop him at first shot.

Mods,

Sorry for being OT
Thanks and Regards,
Saptarshi
