Its disgusting and pathetic, how bad can we get.Stopping all blast might not be possible but atleast get the emergency services in order so that we can atleast save those who can be post injuries.
Again we will have cry for security forces upgrade in man power and infrastructure, but what will happen in reality is that they get few latest weapons and systems, but they will all be pressed for the protection of termites which are eating our country the POLITICIANS.

In reality, its the common citizens who are suffering for all the doings of the these politician, they sit in their safe heavens, guarded in bullet proof homes and car, while the citizens paying the tax are getting killded on road, citizen eating the taxes and greasing the palms of these politicians are njoi their life in lavish built house away from all these dangers.

Even after all these in blast, people of maharastra, just 45 % turned up for the voting in last election.
Its time to wake up and vote like Bengal, clear out the incompetants pawars, thackreys, mundes etc, these are just running the money making dynasties on cost of tax payers money and lifes. There will scam after scam, nothing else, they are not getting killed nor they are loosing their relatives.
Wake, bring change

HM - "Mumbai blasts not an intelligence failure"

to have failure, first you need to have intelligence. Changing government will not help, such attacks unfortunately unpreventable. The concept is mainly dealing with aftermath and main concern is do not have large scale of attack which may destabilize the situation and trigger large scale social disturbances, riots etc.

It is not pathetic, it cannot be in any other way.

Gotta agree with Subal. Its one thing if there is a big organization that you can infiltrate but is almost impossible to stop a lone saboteur.

I also agree with CC that they will use incidents like this to introduce more useless feel-good regulations that will only affect the law abiding citizen and won't phase the terrorists in any way.

Can we have ambulances which reach in time, at least? I am rather sick of seeing injured people being carted away in thelas and trucks and autos. Did something similar once, and still haven't got over it!

We cannot stop blasts as long as we have "exceptions". As long as we raise a hue and cry when Shahrukh Khan or Rajnikant is body searched in US. As long as "jaanta hai mera baap kaun hai?" culture prevails. As long as India continues to be soft "nuclear" state. As long as security is a way to inconvenience the common citizen and extract bribes, rather than doing something meaningful. (I carry two boxes in the car boot, and a beach umbrella stuffed into an old air rifle cover - no security has ever stopped me, they only open and close the boot).

So, going by the difficulty of having so much of cultural change so fast, I think the youngest IFG member will die of sheer old age before we see blasts, etc. stopping. And probably our grandchildren might die of old age, too.
Cheers!
